Why this site shows no Amazon price for the Lululemon mat

The Lululemon The Mat 5mm appears on several comparison pages here. None of them shows an Amazon price for it, and the reason is simple: Lululemon does not sell on Amazon.

Third-party listings using the name exist. They are resellers, and the price on them tells you about that reseller's stock rather than about the mat. We do not treat those as the product's price, so our pages carry a line saying there is no live listing instead.

The alternative was worse

There were two easy ways to fill that gap. We could have shown Lululemon's own retail price and labelled it loosely enough that it read like a current market price. Or we could have picked a reseller listing and presented it as the price.

Both would have made the page look complete. Both would have been misleading in the way that matters — you would compare two numbers believing they came from the same place, and they would not have.

What a half-priced comparison is still good for

The specs still compare cleanly: thickness, weight, size, material and surface type come from each maker and sit side by side. What you lose is the price delta, which is real information, and we would rather you know it is missing than think you have it.
