How this is measured
Once a day a script asks the Amazon API for the current buy-box price of each mat in our catalogue, verifies that the listing still matches the model it is supposed to be, and stores the figure with the date. The median is the middle of those readings rather than an average, so one odd day cannot drag it. Where a listing disappears or starts pointing at a different product, we drop it rather than carry the old number forward.
Two limits worth stating plainly. A price recorded once a day misses intraday moves, and a mat with only a few readings has no meaningful median yet — those rows say so instead of showing a number.
